How to use

-
Tear open
Check the bag is undamaged, then tear along the top strip. Do not touch the inside.
-
Fill
Pour in freshly expressed milk. Never fill above the max 250 ml line – milk expands when frozen.

Remove air & seal
Gently press out the air, then press firmly along the double zip from one end to the other.
-
Label
Write the amount, date and time with a ballpoint or permanent marker before freezing.
-

Thawing & feeding
-
Thaw
Thaw overnight in the fridge, or hold the sealed bag in a bowl of lukewarm water. Use the oldest milk first.
-
Open the spout
Swirl gently to mix. Cut or tear at the corner spout marking.
-
Pour into a bottle
Pour all the milk into a clean bottle. Warm the bottle – never the bag – in a bottle warmer or warm water.
-
Test & feed
Test a few drops on your inner wrist. It should feel warm, not hot.
Temperature indicator
- Purple – cold
- Blue – optimum
- White – too hot
The indicator is a guide only. Always check the milk on your wrist before feeding.
Thawing don’ts
- Never microwave breast milk or the bag – it heats unevenly and can scald your baby.
- Never boil the bag or place it in boiling or very hot water.
- Do not thaw at room temperature on the counter.
- Never refreeze milk once it has thawed.
